Louis F. Kutscher
With his depth of experience in business and financial management, Lou serves as counsel to the firm with an emphasis on personnel development, market positioning and client service.
Lou graduated from Phillips Academy, Andover in 1945 and Yale in 1950. He attended NYU Law School and worked for Prentice-Hall in its legal and tax division before pursuing a 30-year career in publishing on the business and financial side in New York City. In 1991 Lou joined his son Ted in founding Frederic T. Kutscher Associates, Inc. and managed the investment management of client portfolios. Lou became of counsel to the firm in 2008
After leaving New York in 1991, Lou and his wife Joan built a house on Vashon Island overlooking Puget Sound. A would-be architect and finish carpenter, he enjoys working on the house and studio where Joan, an accomplished artist, paints and teaches. With all three of their children in the Seattle area, Lou feels he and Joan have taken to the Northwest "like ducks to water". . . sometimes a lot of it! Their two Labradors obviously feel the same way. |
