Comprehensive Financial Planning |
|
 |
|
Having a comprehensive financial plan is a prerequisite to any successful investment program. Such a plan, aimed toward both long-term and short-term financial goals, must integrate tax and estate planning and provide a context within which portfolio allocation is fashioned and performance is judged. |
|
| To start this process, we learn and digest the details and issues of your financial life, or what might be termed your unique "financial DNA," not simply the investment selection issues handled by many planners. This means exploring with you each of the following matters: |
|
| |
your current portfolio |
| |
the stage and trajectory of your career |
| |
the value, growth and succession or exit plan of your business |
| |
the source and nature of your income |
| |
your taxes |
| |
any employee stock options or restricted stock |
| |
the financial resources of your children, parents or other dependents |
| |
your properties, liabilities and insurance coverage |
| |
your retirement goals |
| |
your estate plan |
| |
your charitable goals |
|
|
